The Story

Cooking is the one place where breaking the rules gets you something delicious.

I grew up watching, feeling and trusting my instincts. I was, and still am, the family food experimenter. The one who could not leave a flavour or technique alone until I understood it.

And that is the thing about cooking. It gives you the freedom to be exactly who you are.

Food has always been where I feel most like myself. There is something about a full table, the noise, the warmth, the way everyone leans in a little closer when something smells good. I grew up in that. Meals were never just meals. They were how we said we love you, how we showed up, how we stayed connected across every distance.

And then there is the other side of it. The nervousness. Walking through a grocery store with an idea forming, something I invented, something that has never existed before, and not knowing if the person I love will take one bite and look at me with that uncertain smile. Because sometimes what I make is unfamiliar. It tastes of somewhere else, of curiosity, of a risk I took at the stove. And I hold my breath every time.

That nervousness never goes away. But neither does the love. The love I have for cooking. The love cooking brings between people. The way a meal made with my hands can make a friend laugh, make a room feel full, make someone feel seen without a single word being said.

That is why I cook. That is why I always will.

"Food was never just food. It was how we gathered. How we showed up for each other. How I said I love you without saying it."

Stories from the kitchen.

Every video starts with a feeling, not a recipe. These are the words behind the food.

Clams in a rich lemon butter sauce

"So at the early age of 10, I stopped trying to do it right, and started "doing it mine." And somehow, that is when the magic started happening."

Hot cross buns, process video

"Food was never just food. It was how we gathered. How we showed up for each other. How I said I love you without saying it."

Braised beef chuck & 72hr dry-aged steak dinner

"Because how do you explain to someone the happiness of watching beef braise in the oven for hours, or the nervous 72 hour wait of a dry brine New York steak that crusts so beautifully?"

Roasted red pepper pasta, pork meatballs, tarragon

"Hi. Let's talk about happy mistakes. And the happy mistake for today is using an herb I've never used before to make a sauce for pasta and have it with meatballs."

No rules. Just good food.

Ten spots. Twice a month.
That's the whole point.

Twice a month, on Saturday, I handmake and handpack 10 complete meals: a protein, a side, a salad or soup, and something sweet, plus a reheating pamphlet so it arrives exactly as I'd serve it.

I keep it to 10 because quality matters more than volume. This isn't a delivery service; it's a meal made by someone who loves cooking, for people who love eating.
